Our fume scrubbers can be designed to withstand any flow rate and chemical fume. All fittings can be customised to ensure your scrubber easily integrates with your system…
Fumes or gases produced during storage and processing often require venting to prevent pressure from
building up, but if the fumes or gases are hazardous, they must be removed from the air before it is
released into the environment. This can be accomplished with wet or dry fume scrubbers.
A wet scrubber feeds the fumes into the bottom of the tank through a percolator. These pass as fine
bubbles through water or a suitable solution that neutralises or absorbs the harmful compounds. The
clean air is then released into the atmosphere.
A dry scrubber combines chemical reagents into the air stream at very high speeds, and these likewise
neutralise or absorb the harmful compounds.
